Not even 2 months until the Berlin Buzzwords opens its doors at the unique Postbahnhof Berlin. You would love to take part and be involved in the organisation of this year's event? Buzzwords is not only about the conference program, the passionate and enthusiastic people make the difference – register as a volunteer and be part of it!
In exchange for ~ 8 hours of volunteering you will get a free ticket for the whole conference including food and drinks and a Berlin Buzzwords 2015 t-shirt - and of course our eternal gratitude! Volunteering options in a nutshell
You can join our construction/dismantling team if you like physical work and don't want to miss anything of the conference. The barcamp support is a combination of accrediting participants and supporting us in completing the final preparations for the conference. Being responsible for the accreditation means checking tickets, spreading out admittance bands and the program. The ability to communicate with an international audience is required for the accreditation job as well as for the infocounter. You will try your best to find answers to all questions of our guests which will mainly evolve around on-site orientation and the program of the conference. Being a runner basically means being flexible. You will help wherever support is required. If you are spontaneous and an „Allrounder“, this job is yours.
As a stage manager, you will make sure that a smooth procedure of the program is guaranteed, short announcements of the speakers on your stage are part of your job as well. Your preferred area is not available anymore or even all shifts are already assigned? Then take the chance to register on our waiting list if you are flexible and don't want to miss Berlin Buzzwords!
Please have a close look at the descriptions of the working fields and take your time to decide which area of activity suits you best. Be aware that some shifts are combinations of different areas of activity (e.g. Barcamp SUN Late + Accreditation MON Early).

Volunteer Briefing
At latest 2 weeks before the Buzzwords opens its doors, we will get in touch with more concrete information concerning your volunteering job at Berlin Buzzwords. On Sunday, May 31 (exact time tba) we will have an important volunteer briefing at Postbahnhof, where you will get to know the team. Furthermore, we'll provide you with all relevant information with regards to your volunteering shift. You will also get your admittance band for the conference and your shirt.
